Thirteen Kurdish associations operating in the United States will launch a joint humanitarian aid campaign to show solidarity with Rojava, which is under attack from HTS, DAISH and gangs affiliated with Turkey. The campaign, organised under the slogan ‘Kobanê bila tenê nemîne’, will be run through the Mesopotamia Association.
Emails to senators and congress members
According to a report in ANF, the association's management stated that they had sent emails to both senators and congress members with the aim of bringing the attacks on Rojava to the attention of the US Senate and Congress. In this context, it was reported that the contact information of senators and congress members, including their email addresses and social media accounts, had been collected.
Association officials stated that the information in question had been made available via accessible links and that ready-made texts had been prepared for use by the public. It was stated that the aim was for supporters to use these texts to send emails directly to senators and members of Congress. The statement emphasised that over five thousand emails had been sent so far and that the campaign was still ongoing.
