The death toll rises in Rojhilat and Iran

NEWS CENTRE - The number of people who have lost their lives in protests in Rojhilat and Iran has risen to 3,919.
The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) announced that 3,919 people have lost their lives in protests in Iran and Rojhilat. The statement also noted that 24,669 people have been detained.
Protests began in Tehran's Grand Bazaar on 28 December 2025, led by shopkeepers, due to the rapid devaluation of the local currency against foreign currencies and deepening economic hardship, and spread across the country.
