NEWS CENTER - A delegation of women representatives from Northern and Eastern Syria will meet with women's organizations, legal institutions and parliamentarians in Switzerland, Germany, France and Belgium. 

 

A delegation of women representatives from Northern and Eastern Syria will hold diplomatic missions in European countries. The delegation will hold meetings with women's organizations, legal institutions and European parliamentarians, as well as participate in panels and cultural events.

 

The delegation includes Syrian Women's Assembly Executive Board member Emine Omer, Syrian Women's Assembly Spokesperson Muna Al Yûsif, Zenûbiya Women's Community Spokesperson Shahrezad Al Casim, Kongra Star Coordination member Jiyan Hisên and Assyrian Women's Union Spokesperson Jorjet Bersum.

 

Within the scope of the program, various meetings will be held in Switzerland, Germany, France and Belgium. The delegation will also meet with Belgian and Swiss parliamentarians to strengthen cooperation and share common experiences.

 

The visit will last for a month. The talks will focus on the current situation in Syria, the North and East Syria model, the problems faced by women, their experiences in the conflict, the refugee file and the most appropriate form of governance.
